How to Use HCH EV Chargers
This guide explains the process of using EV chargers at HcH.
START
EV CHARGER:
1: The guest arrives at HcH, parks in the left or right EV space.
2: The guest should plugin their car with their own EV cable, from the charger to the car
3: The guest should come to hotel
reception or spa reception to ask for the charger to be activated, upon this we will charge a
small fee of £20 to use the charger – Button found in RS here:
(it's a fee of £20 to use the charger we need to ask guests to not use for more than 24 hours, and please move their car if fully charged)
4: Ask the guest if they have parked in the left bay or the right bay, Take the relevant charging card (left or right) from the agreed location
5: Go to the charger yourself and hold the card flat on the card symbol, it will beep and make a louder tick noise, this means charging has started
6: Tell the guest its charging and to come back to hotel reception and spa reception when they want the charge to be stopped
7: Put the charging card back in the
agreed safe location (Do not leave out or keep in pocket; as the guest’s car
will be locked to charger if lost)
8: When the guest comes back to say they want to stop charging, please go and scan the relevant card the same way as before, it will again make a noise and stop charging. Please ensure they guest know to move their car out of the EV bay.
9: Put the charging card back in the
agreed safe location (Do not leave out or keep in pocket; as the guest’s car
will be locked to charger if lost).
