Ordering Drinks in Spa using QR Codes

This guide explains how a guest places an order using the QR codes around spa and how a member of staff will process the order once it comes through to the tablet.

How a guest places an order:

1:  Guest scans the QR code displayed on the corner of their table using their personal device. This will bring up the below URL allowing them to place an order online.

2: Once the page loads it will give the guest an option to Place Order then on the next screen it will ask when you would like your order, press Now. Choose the table number from the drop-down menu and press Start Order.

3: It will now bring up the drinks menu. Scroll up/down or select the category at the top to go to the drink type. Choose the drink/s you would like to order. Once you have chosen the drinks go to cart at the bottom and press proceed To Checkout once you’re happy with the order.

 4: Guest will fill in their details including name, email address and phone number.

The guest must confirm they have provided the correct table number by checking the tick box and selecting “Charge to your account” as payment method. Please note it doesn’t link to Agilysys so it will NOT automatically open a table in Agilysys or charge their account. Follow the steps below to process the order.

How to process the order on the tablet:

1: Once the guest has placed an order it will come through to the QR ordering tablet which will notify you by sounding an alert tone. The order will show as un-confirmed. It will give you the option to Cancel, see Details and Confirm.

Press Details to see the order details. Use the information provided in the Items tab to create a table on the Agilysys POS/tablet and add the order details. This is important so that it can be charged to the guest account.

 2: Click confirm to confirm the order. If the guest has allowed notification on their device, it will notify them the order is being made.

3: When the order is ready to take to the table, press Ready (notifies guest again) and take the drinks to the table number shown. Also take an Agilysys tablet with you. 

4: When you deliver the drink, use the Agilysys tablet to charge the guest using their wristband or guest account number on their slip. Close the table on the Agilysys tablet and press Complete on the QR Ordering tablet to complete the order.
